Denied!
What the hell? I googled Showtime Weeds to get some additional info on this great show that Steve and I have been watching about a woman whose husband dies and she starts selling pot to support her family. While looking, I came across a link to Showtime's Webpage for the show which takes you to a page that states: "Sorry - We at Showtime Online express our apologies; however, these pages are intended for access only from within the United States." What, are they hiding State secrets for chrissakes? What could possibly be their reasoning for not allowing their content to be seen outside of the US? It's not like I even wanted to see the stupid site, HBO wannabee.

In case you needed more proof that Kelly Osbourne is on drugs.
This is just ridiculous. Yeah, you're JUST LIKE Kylie. I think I just heard the entire West End groan. Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, you have none of the delicious divaness that is Kylie. When you try sexy, you just come off vulgar and no amount of studying Kylie's videos is going to change that. I really hope that statement was taken out of context and was actually said with irony.

Red Means STOP!
We went to New West today to buy a second hand high chair and some idiot totally blew a red light and nicked our front bumper. He was going REALLY fast and if Steve hadn't hit the breaks it would have been a lot worse - I don't want to think about it cause it probably would have killed me and Liam as we were both on the passenger side and going straight through the intersection when he ran the red and went straight through the intersection perpendicular to us. Jack@$$ didn't even stop, so now we have to deal with proving a hit and run with ICBC and the car co-op. Though I'd rather us be okay and have to deal with the hit and run than be in the hospital and have his insurance info. What gets me is we were the third car through the intersection went he blew right through it. How could he not have seen the two cars in front of us or us or the freakin' RED LIGHT? I'm so glad we don't drive that often, it's just not safe these days.
And then, on our way home, we saw three other drivers run red lights! For the love of god, pay attention people. Luckily there were no accidents involved with these, but for crying out loud, four red light runners in one trip. You gotta wonder how some people got their license.
Oh yeah, and Dear Internet, if you happened to be at 6th and Royal in New West at 10:30 ish this morning and saw it, let me know ;) Could happen, right?

Non-Reactive Canine
Conversation overheard today while walking to the library...
"My brother has a hypo-allergenic dog."
"What is that?"
What indeed.
